Description

The system detects changes of the dielectric properties within the underground,
that may occur at boundaries of geological layers,
voids, the ground-water table or hidden objects,
such as utility pipes, foundations, bones and others.

Similar to sonar-echos in water, the electromagnetic georadar-pulses
are able to penetrate the underground,
where they are reflected at interfaces or buried objects,
providing a dielectric contrast to the overlying soil or bedrock.
